Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Joops AI ("Joops," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with our website joops.ai, our application at app.joops.ai, and related services (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
Information you provide
- Account information — your name, email address, company, and authentication credentials when you create an account.
- Billing information — where you purchase a paid plan, payment details are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
- Communications — messages, support requests, and feedback you send us.
Advertising platform data (via authorized connections)
When you connect an advertising account — such as Meta, TikTok, or Google Ads — you authorize Joops to access, on a read-only basis, data from that account, which may include ad creatives (images, video, and copy), campaign and ad metadata, account identifiers, and performance metrics such as spend, impressions, clicks, and conversions. We access this data only to provide the Service's features.
Information collected automatically
- Usage & device data — log data, IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and interactions with the Service, collected via cookies and similar technologies.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service — including analyzing your connected creatives and performance data and generating and optimizing ad concepts and creatives for you;
- Authenticate you and secure your account;
- Communicate with you about the Service, including support, security notices, and product updates;
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the Service and develop new features;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
We do not sell your personal information or your advertising platform data, and we do not use it to serve you third-party advertising.
3. Connected advertising accounts
Access to a connected advertising account is granted by you through that platform's authorization flow (OAuth) and is used solely to provide Joops's creative-analysis and ad-generation features for your account. You can disconnect any advertising account at any time from within Joops, and you can revoke Joops's access directly through the platform (for example, via your account settings on Meta, TikTok, or Google). Your use of each platform remains governed by that platform's own terms and policies.
4. Google user data & Limited Use
Joops's access to and use of information received from Google APIs (including the Google Ads API) adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically:
- We request only the scopes needed to provide the Service, and we access Google Ads data on a read-only basis.
- We use Google user data solely to provide and improve the user-facing features of the Service (creative analysis and ad generation) for the connecting user.
- We do not sell Google user data, and we do not use or transfer it for serving advertisements.
- We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve the Service, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition (with adequate notice and protections).
- We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless (a) we have your affirmative consent, (b) it is necessary for security purposes (such as investigating abuse), (c) it is necessary to comply with applicable law, or (d) the data has been aggregated and anonymized.
You can review and revoke Joops's access to your Google Account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
5. How we share information
We share information only as described below, and never sell it:
- Service providers (subprocessors) — cloud hosting, storage, analytics, and AI-model providers that process data on our behalf under confidentiality and data-protection obligations, and only to provide the Service.
- Legal & safety — to comply with applicable law or lawful requests, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Joops, our users, or others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to the protections described in this Policy and with notice where required.
6. Data retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. You may request deletion of your account and associated data as described below.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encryption in transit and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. You may also:
- Disconnect any connected advertising account and revoke Joops's access at any time;
- Request a copy or deletion of your data by contacting us;
- Opt out of non-essential communications using the unsubscribe link or your account settings.
To exercise your rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond consistent with applicable law.
9. Cookies & tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, remembering preferences, and understanding how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the Service functions.
10. International transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than the one in which you live. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we use appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.
11. Children's privacy
The Service is intended for businesses and users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we will provide additional notice where required. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
